The Sensory Stuff website may only be used to browse content and to make legitimate purchases. The Sensory Stuff website shall not be used for any other purpose, including without limitation, to make any speculative, false or fraudulent purchases. This site and the content provided on this site may not be copied, reproduced, republished or uploaded in any way or manner. Unauthorised use of this site and of the materials contained on this site may violate applicable copyright, trademark or other intellectual copyright laws.

All pricing on the Sensory Stuff website is in South African Rand (ZAR) and is inclusive of VAT at 14%. Please note that pricing and stock availability is subject to change without prior notice.  If an item which you have ordered is out of stock, Sensory Stuff will contact you to either select an alternative product, or subsequent to having made payment, we will offer a full refund, by bank deposit into your bank account from which your payment transaction originated, within 30 days.  

Sensory Stuff’s website will generate a purchase order which will be automatically emailed to you. This order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell the products which you have ordered. Sensory Stuff reserves the right at any time after receipt of order to accept or decline your order for any reason. We may require additional verifications or information before accepting an order. If you have paid for a purchase and your order is cancelled, Sensory Stuff will reimburse your payment.

Incorrect pricing : In the event that a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error, Sensory Stuff reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order placed for products listed at the incorrect price. There will be no credit given on order price differential, due to any price changes.

Sensory Stuff reserves the right to adjust product costs and delivery costs on the website at any time.

Sensory Stuff can only accept payment in South African Rands,  (ZAR).  Payment should be effected within 7 (seven) days or the order may be cancelled.  Products will be dispatched only once payment has been cleared. We accept payment via direct deposits, EFT directly to our bank account or credit card (Mastercard and VISA) via the Mygate payment gateway.

E-Commerce & Privacy Policy

The website www.sensorystuff.co.za sells goods for Occupational Therapy and Sensory Processing, online.  The use of any product or service bought from this Website is at the purchaser’s risk. The purchaser/ user indemnifies and holds Sensory Stuff harmless against any loss, injury or damages which may be sustained as a result of using the products sold on the Website. 

 The private information required for executing the orders placed through the e-commerce facility, namely the User’s personal information and credit card details, delivery address and telephone numbers will be kept in the strictest confidence by Sensory Stuff and not sold or made known to third parties. Only the necessary information, that is the delivery address and contact phone number will be made known to third parties delivering the product.  Credit card details are not kept by Sensory Stuff under any circumstances.

 Sensory Stuff cannot be held responsible for security breaches occurring on the User’s electronic device (Personal Computer or other electronic device used to browse the Website), which may result due to the lack of adequate virus protection software or spyware that the User may inadvertently have installed on his/her device, or for whatever reason.

All online credit card payments are processed by the MyGate Internet Payment Gateway.  Card Holders are invited to visit to www.mygate.co.za to view MyGate’s security policies.

 Obligations of the Customer

As a Customer of Sensory Stuff, you must provide accurate, current and complete information about yourself at all times. There should be someone available during office hours to accept and sign for the product we deliver via courier or via the South African Post Office, to a South African address only..

 Privacy Policy Statement

Sensory Stuff has a strict Privacy Policy for all visitors to our internet website www.sensorystuff.co.za.  Customer privacy is respected at all times. We recognize the sensitivity of your personal information and will never share your details with anyone.

In order for Sensory Stuff to process an order placed by you, we need to collect certain relevant information from you. The type of customer information we ask for includes name and address for billing and postal / delivery purposes, day time phone number, email address and product preferences. We will keep your information on record. The information which we collect from you is used for internal review by the company and is not shared with other organisations. We welcome your questions and comments.

 Country of Domicile

This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Sensory Stuff chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.

 Cost and Delivery policy

Sensory Stuff will supply all goods to the delivery company in good order. The Provider will not be held liable for the condition of goods arriving at the User’s chosen delivery address.

Most products from the Sensory Stuff website shop are sent via postal service or courier to the postal/street address as supplied by the Purchaser. Whilst we endeavour to ensure speedy delivery we do not have any control over the delivery process and we cannot guarantee any delivery time.  Should your order be delivered by courier, please ensure that there is someone available during office hours to accept and sign for the goods. We use the services of Fastway Couriers and of the South African Postal Service. Fastway Couriers only delivers to some of the major centres. Delivery will be via the Post Office using insured parcel mail for all other addresses not serviced by the courier.

All items purchased from Sensory Stuff are made pursuant to agreements with shipping and delivery agents and risk of loss pass from Sensory Stuff  to such agents upon delivery of any item to such carrier.

 Refund and Return Policy

The provision of goods and services is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, the provider will refund the client in full within 30 days. Cancellation of orders after payment by the purchaser will attract a 15% charge for administration costs. 

 Sensory Stuff reserves the right to cancel an order for which payment has already been received.  This may occur if stock is insufficient or the quality of goods ordered does not meet the Provider’s standards.  Should Sensory Stuff exercise this right, the Purchaser will receive a full refund with no deductions.

 Any complaints regarding the standard and quality of the product or products bought by consumers through the e-commerce facility should be directed info@sensorystuff.co.za

 We check all our goods for quality, prior to dispatch and your products should all reach you in good order. In the event that any product is defective, broken or damaged at time of receipt, please notify us via email to info@sensorystuff.co.za within 72 hours of receipt of your order. Your product will be replaced or a refund will be offered depending on the nature of the problem.

Unwanted goods may be returned , unused, and in their original packaging, with all tags still attached. The returned goods should have a copy of your invoice. Postage for such goods will be for the account of the shopper, and will include insurance to the value of the product/s. Postage for such goods will not be for account of Sensory Stuff.  Such goods must be shipped within 7 working days of receipt of the goods.  A 15 % handling fee will be charged.  Sensory Stuff will pay you the refund after the goods have been received in good unused order. A refund will be paid into the bank account from which the transaction originated, within 30 days.


Sensory Stuff c.c.,  nor any of its agents or representatives shall be liable for any damage, loss or liability of whatsoever nature arising from the use or inability to use this website or the services, content or products provided from and through this website. The contents of this site are provided as is without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, or fitness for purpose. 

Sensory Stuff shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, general, special, incidental or consequential damages (including without limitation – data loss, lost revenues and lost profit) which may result from the inability to use, or the correct or incorrect use, abuse, or misuse of these contents, including the inability to fulfill particular orders of any description. 

Due to changing market forces and other extenuating circumstances that affect product availability and price stability, we reserve the right to withdraw any product we advertise and to change prices without notice. 

Information contained throughout our website and in our database is believed to be accurate and reliable at the time of publishing. There may be misprints, human errors and omissions. We reserve the right to make changes and corrections in prices, products and specifications without notice.  

Furthermore, Sensory Stuff makes no representations or warranties, implied or otherwise, that, amongst others, the content and technology available from this web site are free from errors or omissions or that the service will be 100% uninterrupted and error free.
