Build it on the Picture Jigsaw Puzzles – Learning to build jigsaw puzzles can be made really easy for pre-schoolers if they can build their puzzle onto a picture, showing each puzzle piece in exactly the same size as the pieces. This makes it really easy for the child to match the piece which they are holding, with the exact same piece in the picture on the laminated picture card.
Slowly, they can begin to look for particular pieces as they see what they have already built and figure exactly where each piece fits.
This is one of the smartest ways for children to learn and understand the concept of part-whole as they develop their visuo-spatial perception skills.
