Description
The Mechanical Kit is an advanced construction set and allows for complex designs as well as exploration of basic mechanical principles like the use of pulleys, counterweights and leverage.
The wooden parts are made from sustainable Birch and the hardware is steel with a zinc coating to prevent rust. There is also a wide range of different kinds of bolts & nuts and fasteners to allow many design possibilities. The kits are locally made and many of the parts can be easily replaced or supplemented.
The kits are excellent sensory toys – ideal for play therapy, practicing fine motor skills and encouraging visual perception.
