- Classic 45cm – The durable 45 cm Gymnic Ball is ideal for most throwing and catching activities. The 45 cm Gymnic Classic Ball is an ideal sized ball for most typical children in Grade 0-3 to sit on in the classroom. Sitting on the ball with the feet firmly on the floor, requires control of the abdominal and back muscles. If the ball is of the correct size, the child should have ankles, knees, and hips all a right angles. Use a larger ball, such as the 55 cm ball if the child is sitting too low, and a smaller ball such as the 30 cm Gymnic Ball if the child is sitting too high.
