This ancient game originated in China. Tangram Duet is a set of seven shapes forming a perfect square and consists of a square, five triangles, and a parallelogram. The problem and solution cards are designed to cater for various levels of development.
In the case of the child who is still developing spatial skills (6 years and up), the child can simply copy the design as it is shown fragmented on the one side of the card.
In the case of a much older child (8 years and up), the child can look at the solid design and try to work out how the design was made.
