Cookie Cutters

Description

Cookie Cutters are a great addition to playdough crafting.  These cutters offer resisted movement activity that can form part of an organising “sensory diet” of therapeutic activities.

Use a rolling pin or the palm of your hand to flatten the dough and then cut out the various shapes.

Using both hands to push the cookie cutters, children will improve their bilateral coordination skills. Picking up the cut out shapes using a pincer grip assists fine motor grasp.
